Joining band means you are joining a family that lasts a lifetime.

An instrumental music ensemble or "band" as it is commonly called is a group of musicians who learn music together to perform for their own enjoyment and the enjoyment of those around them. This group grows together, learns together, and most importantly creates together!

Band teaches many valuable character traits such as responsibility and accountability as well as a myriad of other valuable traits such as proficiency in team-work skills, communication and organizational skills, and problem solving skills.

Students involved in the band program will progress to become better each and every day through their own practice and hard work, and their success is driven by their dedication to each other and their instrument. I highly recommend that all students give band a try. There is nobody who cannot learn if they want to put in the time and work to make it happen. All are welcome!
